Is there an existing cheat sheet for the most common required Astra commands? The profile I imported had almost 1500 commands in total. Or do I need to edit the controls one by one in ED while I have the hcsX52 binds selected? Or can I somehow edit the hcsX52 binds (that is something I'm not sure how to do? Would I edit that in the saitek software?) Do I edit the saitek profile in their editor (create a modified or new profile for the x52pro). But now, what I'm asking is what is the smart way to proceed. I'm very new to ED and the X52 and voice attack. Example T1 for switching fire control group, and the 'i' button for engine boost. But the HCS binds are goofing up some of my controls. So now in ED I have a new control set option for hcsX52-pro. Then I copied "HCSPacks X52 Pro.binds" in the proper frontier folder. I installed voiceattack with ASTRA, I imported the "1.6.5 Full House Profile - HOTAS.vap" profile into voiceattack, set VA to active window. So in ED under controls I would select 'Saitek X52 pro' as the control defaults. I'll try to manually map joystick buttons, next.I have ED with an X52-pro. I then tried to load a general joystick profile, and now everything back to normal, I can move my cursor in the main menu using keyboard, up/down. if I chagne the mode to red, it will instantly move the cursor to the bottom of the menu and stay there so instead of I can't move it down using down key, now I can't move it up using up key.I know I've been painfully detailed. When I were testing, it seems that both wheels on throttle doesn't do any thing, the Mode selector (the one a the top left corner of the stick, has 3 positions, if you rotate it will change the color of a light, green, orange, red) on the stick does. If I load the profile but used it on a X52 (not pro), it will cause the problem I described earlier - it will make you impossible to continue to do anything in the main menu section, unless you unplug x52 (not pro). I can see my x52 recognized using Logitech driver.Īnd, the embedded x52 profile is for x52 Pro. If you can't get your x52 recognized, try Logitech driver. OK, I think I've got some insights into this problem.
